Co-owner of BMA, Sayaka is a master stylist and expert head spa technician. Born in Japan, she has trained at industry-leading institutions such as Vidal Sassoon and Aveda. Sayaka is a firm believer in education and is committed to sharing her expertise with the team at BMA. She is thrilled to bring organic Japanese traditions of hair care to the Los Angeles community.

Japanese master stylist Arisa Sorimachi brings over 20 years of experience to BMA. Specializing in design haircuts and headspa treatments. In the past, she has worked with celebrity clients such as Brittney Spears, Chelsea Kane, and Elizabeth Perkins. She brings Japanese-Modern technique to the Hollywood-Glam aesthetic. Arisa has been a trusted specialist for doing the headspa treatments for over 20 years. Arisa is a certified Trichologist, meaning she is an expert in hair loss and overall scalp health. She received her credentials from the Int’l Association of Trichology.

An award-winning stylist, Sasha brings over 20 years of experience from her wide-ranging career in Japan. Highly sought after for her skills in cut, color, extensions and dreadlocks, her extensive celebrity clientele speaks to her level of expertise. Sasha believes in beauty at every age and tailors her approach to meet the vision of each client across the generational.

Hana is a hair stylist extraordinaire. Her specialty is in hair color and extensions, gaining various color system and extension certifications over the past several years. Although she has her specialty, her versatile skill set allows her to work with a wide range of clients. She has impeccable attention to detail and a great sense of style. Eva Stumbraite
Master Stylist
Eva Is young talent from Lithuania, her roots as a classically trained stylist and colorist began in Europe in 2012. Since she came to US in 2014, Eva worked in Venice and Santa Monica, observing the local style - Salt and sun highlighted hair on surfers and kids, inspired her to recreate those looks in salon. Her color work always looks natural, lived in and sun kissed. With her great passion, artistry and incredible hair cutting ability, Eva has developed into a master stylist in all salon disciplines but is really in her element with a pair of sheers in hand.

Ami’s expertise in hair care brings unique value to the BMA team. She believes in the importance of scalp care for the overall health of hair using organic and high quality products. Ami’s clients benefit from her unique relaxation techniques and standards of excellence.
Sally (Risa) Takenami
Head Spa Technician/ Master Stylist
Sally is originally from Kyoto, Japan. She is an experienced head-spa technician, hair stylist, and make-up artist with 15 years in the beauty industry. Among her many recognitions and awards, she won the JMA Paris Collection Hair and Makeup Artist audition, which led her to styling at Paris Haute Couture, Tokyo Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week. With an eye and talent for creative looks, her work has been featured in various magazines and publications around the world.

Miki, a professional Hair stylist, Colorist and Headspa Technician from LA is Bilingual in English and Japanese. She specializes in Balayage, Highlights, Color blending grays, Keratin Treatments and Headspa scalp massages creating a unique and pleasant customer experience.
Her focus is on promoting scalp and hair growth, ensuring clients to love the result and maintain their best result even at home.

Kai, a master stylist and headspa technician, began his hairstyling journey in Tokyo, Japan, in 2007, where he gained extensive training in hairstyling techniques and color blending. He specializes in creating flawless and modern color applications, ranging from stunning blonds shades to captivating colors. He has honed precision cutting techniques to craft personalized contemporary styles. He is also an expert in headspa techniques, ensuring his clients comfort and well-being.
With over a decade of experience in an organic hair salon, Kai values safe products and promotes brands like Oway and Original & Mineral, known for creating stunning colors without harsh chemicals. He is also an elite color educator for Simply Organic Beauty, a distributor of these brands.
His goal is to provide an unforgettable and comprehensive experience that leaves clients with healthy, beautiful, and unique hair, ensuring their return time and time again.
